AION 2 Enchanting Guide: Safe +10, Max Levels & Costs

How does enchanting work in AION 2?

Enchanting (enhancing) spends enhancement stones and Kinah to raise an item’s level. On Global, every attempt up to +10 succeeds. That makes +10 the cheapest power in the game, and the first thing to do on any piece you plan to keep. Past +10 each attempt can fail, but a failure never destroys the item.

What are the max enchant levels?

Going past +15 needs Amplify Stones (Unique), crafted from Amplify Stone Fragments and enhancement stones.

What should you enchant first?

1. Weapon: biggest damage gain.
2. Accessories, especially the amulet and belt. You never replace them; you Morph them to the next quality after +10, so the investment carries over.
3. Armor from the dungeon set you will keep.

How expensive is enchanting past +10?

High-level attempts get expensive fast. Examples from Season 1:

• A Vakron cloak (item level 76) costs 380 stones and 9,500 Kinah per attempt.
• An Abyssal bracelet (item level 84) costs 420 stones and 10,500 Kinah per attempt.
• The +13 to +14 step starts at a 25% success rate.

Transfer Stones move enhancement levels and stats to another item, so a common plan is to enhance a cheap gold item and transfer it later.

What enhancement targets should you aim for at 45?
