How much does it cost to level a stigma?
Every level costs more than the last, in four tiers. Getting a stigma to 20 costs 75 shards, and more than half of that (40 shards) is the last five levels. That is why most builds max one key stigma to 20 and keep the others at 5, 10 or 15.
| Levels | Shards per level | Shards for the tier | Running total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acquire (Lv 1) | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| Lv 2–5 | 1 | 4 | 5 |
| Lv 6–10 | 2 | 10 | 15 |
| Lv 11–15 | 4 | 20 | 35 |
| Lv 16–20 | 8 | 40 | 75 |
How do you use the stigma calculator?
- Pick your class. The four slots fill with the recommended PvE stigmas and target levels from our builds.
- Set each stigma’s current level (leave “None” if you don’t have it yet) and your target level.
- Enter the shards you already own to see how many you still need.
Everything runs in your browser; nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
What are the common breakpoints?
| Target | Cost from scratch | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Lv 5 | 5 shards | Utility stigmas you only need unlocked (Focused Block, Rage Burst) |
| Lv 10 | 15 shards | Secondary buffs (Zikel’s Blessing, Noble Aura) |
| Lv 15 | 35 shards | Strong secondaries (Templar dungeon set) |
| Lv 20 | 75 shards | Your one core stigma (Lunge Stance, Undefeated Mantra) |
Which stigmas does each class max first?
See the class pages for the full reasoning: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric and Chanter. The stigma guide explains slots, unlocks and where shards come from.
